Domus Diversum was founded in 2022 in Bayfield, Colorado. Originally from the Philadelphia area, once our baby was born, my wife and I decided to quit our fruitful careers in search of a more peaceful, family oriented life. I built elevators and escalators for 16 years, and my wife Kate has been an educator in special needs and caretaker all her adult life. We have family here in La Plata County, and after a visit and some quick deliberation, we sold our Maryland home, packed our things, and ventured out to this wonderful area! We couldn't be more grateful.

Our goal for Domus Diversum is to eventually be able to provide lasting memories and experiences staying in very unique properties. We'd like to pass on all of the great things we've come across when finding other types of unique stays that, in effect, we loved so much that we decided to start building our own! What better place than Southwest Colorado?
